This companion cookbook for the fourth season of Cucina Amore, "Ciao Y'all", features over 100 of Damian's and Johnny's traditional Italian family recipes, enhanced with variations, as well as other popular ethnic dishes from the American Southwest. The "family secret" dishes, such as "Spezzateddu" and "Mama's Lasagna," are identified with the "Authentic Mama" stamp. Following each of these family classics will be the improvisations demonstrated on the television show for "those who can't leave well enough alone." The book also features regional favorites such as Hushpuppies served with Mama's Jambalaya, Mama's Etoufee, Shrimp Creole. The recipes are annotated with short introductions providing additional information and family stories.
